We have about six weeks until the Big Day. So go ahead and mark your calendars, make your travel plans and get in gear for the biggest blogging party in the Old North State.

Forgot to add
This event is for anyone who has blogged, thought about blogging, or just plain lurked in any political blog in North Carolina. We'll be extending invitations to plenty of elected officials, as well as journalists, wanna be journalists, and used to be journalists. It will be a good time to mend fences, make friends, shake hands, and drink beer. If you're wondering if you should come, you should.
I forgot to note above that the cost is $10 to cover food.

Won't make it this year
I'll be sitting on a plane to Europe that exact day. I haven't seen my Belgian family in 2 years. I couldn't go last year because there was a little election or something going on.
It will be the first time I can use my Belgian passport to enter Belgium and my US passport to come back!

Exams, papers, etc. Have fun though.
