A ripple in the Blackwater
Scapegoating moves forward, albeit slowly.
Federal prosecutors have sent target letters to six Blackwater Worldwide security guards involved in a September shooting that left 17 Iraqi civilians dead, indicating a high likelihood the Justice Department will seek to indict at least some of the men, according to three sources close to the case.
You can see the plan unfolding. BushCo strikes a deal to hang a few low-level thugs out to dry while The Prince gains untold riches in taxpayer dollars. Mercenary madness. It may be only the second oldest profession, but the money's pretty good.

'Bout damn time
Unfortunately, the way this unfolds is that by the time indictments are brought circa November or December, George Bush steps in with the end-of-term pardons for these killers. Sorry, but when it comes to Blackwater and this administration, the cynic in me comes raging out.
