Harry Taylor’s campaign for Congress in North Carolina’s 9th district is a genuine grass roots campaign. He’s running against well funded, 7 term incumbent Republican Sue Myrick with a campaign that’s short on everything but a great candidate, lots of enthusiasm, good policies and a real alternative to the way people in Washington think and act. Harry Taylor is a real public servant in a way that I didn’t think was possible anymore.

An opinion column in The Charlotte Observer on October 11 by Mary Newsom, “Something Profound Is Happening”, states that there is a fire blazing that began several years ago.

What is a progressive to me.
A progressive is a person who believes and works for the welfare and happiness of all human beings.
Progressive principles include Universalism, Social Justice, Economic Democracy, Environmentalism, Rationality, Leadership, and Morality and Ethics.
