Robin Anderson's Campaign Gains Momentum
Almost everyone who is reading this has probably heard of the Academy of Trial Lawyers. In case you havent, I will let them speak for themselves:
The North Carolina Academy of Trial Lawyers is a nonprofit, nonpartisan association dedicated to protecting people's rights through professional and community legal education, championing individual rights, and protecting the safety of North Carolina's families -- in the workplace, in the home, and in the environment.
Robin is obviously very excited about this endorsement. But I am just as excited about the Simkins PAC endorsement.
For more on the Simkins PAC you can read Under the Dome or my short explanation:
The Simkins PAC was formed as the Citizens Committee in the early 1960s to give voice to minorities in Greensboro. For the past 40 years the organization has worked for equal rights and justice in the community. The PAC was renamed in honor of George C. Simkins Jr.
These two big endorsements continue to keep our momentum going, which is vital with the primary just a few weeks away.
In non-endorsement news, I am sure all of you saw that Robin won the straw poll at the 10th district rally over the weekend, but the other piece of news is that Under the Dome's blog carried a small piece about our Progressive Dems Questionnaire.
The paper listed some of our stances on the issues, and ended with this quote:
"This incumbent has failed by any measure. She has put appeasing the business community ahead of doing her duty to protect workers," she wrote. "She has refused to enforce the laws that are in place, and as a member of the Council of State she has voted against our future."
Its been a great couple of days for the Anderson Campaign, help us keep it going by donating!

For anyone interested
We have a ton of literature that we would like to make available at county conventions and to voters in general. So if you are willing to help us out by giving information to your local party activists or to your friends send me a message.

I could take info to the Orange Convention if you get it to me
ASAP.
Excellent news Will
I'm really happy to see so much support from community groups for Robin.
Its a big deal
I wasnt inside the interview but Robin tells me that the Simkins interview was a very difficult set of questions for 10 minutes on just about every topic imaginable. They take this very seriously, so to gain their support is a very big deal.
