McCain: “Country Last, Me First!”
Submitted by S Turner on Tue, 09/02/2008 - 12:26pmNow we know that John McCain has been lying to us all along. As the Sarah Palin nomination for Cross-posted from The Progressive Pulse.
Vice-President makes obvious, John McCain has no interest in putting "Country First." Unless, I suppose, that you think McCain actually believes that the barely removed mayor of a hamlet in Alaska is the most qualified Republican to be one beat away from his 72 year old heart and the presidency.

"I'm offended by Barack Obama saying that about my husband," said McCain's wife Cindy.
When asked if Obama went too far in his criticism of McCain, Cindy responded, "I do. I do. I really do."

Ok creative people, care to help me stick it to McCain?
Submitted by persondem on Sat, 06/14/2008 - 2:21pmSo who is feeling creative? I would ike to have signs printed sometime in the coming couple of months that would hopefully enhance McCain's negatives. They wouild be stark, like newsprint, black and white. The wording would need to be brief and easily understandable like:
"Make it a 100 years [in Iraq]."

Why we must Unite - the real danger
Submitted by wade norris on Sun, 06/08/2008 - 1:20pmNow that we have a nominee in Barack Obama, it would seem that nothing can stop him from sweeping into the Oval office this fall. Curiously, however, some people seemed to be concerned that Obama can't win because he can't get white voters or can't keep the dissapointed Clinton supporters in his camp.
While some stories like this NPR story are fairly benign,
there are other stories documenting the growing number of Clinton for McCain supporters
and even a website boasting of 15,000 supporters and threatening the following
Our Plans
It is our mission to raise money, promote John McCain. We will set up a "527" to raise money, run TV and radio ads against Obama. The Democrat party has left us out in the cold, so we are going to build a fire that they cannot put out
.
Really? how did the "democrat" party leave anyone out in the cold? More on these McCan'ts...

For Your Election Results Fix...
Submitted by boilergirl on Mon, 05/05/2008 - 6:30pmI can't wait until 7:30 pm on May 6th when the polls close and the votes start coming in... the anticipation is seriously about to kill me.
The NC Board of Elections has an awesome web page dedicated to reporting election results from across the state in this historical primary. It includes a summary of every race statewide and by county. Plus it has voter turn out numbers, and a map of the state to see results by county. There is even a tab where you can download CSV and XLS reports, and filter by CD, county or vote type.
