I'd like to extend a warm greeting to folks coming to Greensboro for the Wyndham Championship at beautiful Sedgefield Country Club. I hope you enjoy your stay and come again soon. While you're here, I'd like to give you some advice to make your visit more pleasurable, if less, shall we say, enlightening:

Shouldn't $1.6 million dollars of your hard earned North Carolina tax money give you the right to know and refuse exposure to hazardous pesticides, herbicides, and chemicals? If Governor Easley can spend $1.6 million tax payer dollars on a pesticide plan to protect farmworkers shouldn't the plan also include protecting the citizens of North Carolina as well. The plan should be comprehensive and not discriminate between industries, companies, workers, and citizens. Tell the Director of the State Office of Rural Health and Community Care, Mr. John Price to implement a plan that protects everyone's right to know when being exposed to hazardous pesticides, herbicides, and chemicals.

"UNCOUNTED: The New Math of American Elections" will be showing in Greensboro and Burlington NC on April 17, and 18th respectively. This movie was produced by David Earnhardt, a Greensboro NC native. David will be present after both showings to answer questions.

I have seen "UNCOUNTED" twice now, and for once in my 4 years of e-voting activism, can recommend a movie. This isn't just about voting machines, its about voter suppression and caging. This movie is about REAL people and REAL events, and will wake up even the most complacent voters. Don't miss this great opportunity to see the movie and meet the producer!

We had fun at first organizational meeting. So now all we need is for you to bring a friend! We will be going over sample canvassing scripts and we will be talking about putting fliers up at some strategic locations. On Sunday March 9 we held a lively meet up and started a spirited and sometimes surprising discussion. The range of views expressed were varied, but we all had one thing in common, our sincere belief Hillary is the best possible person for the presidency right now. During our meeting we learned that one of our ranks has access to some very useful information that will allow us to begin cold calling on voters in our own area. Please be in contact if you would like begin calling on folks in your own towns and neighborhoods. We also began an email list through which we will keep in touch, please notify me if you would like to be added. Please check back here often for updates!
