Spruce Pine Mayor Advocates Unconstitutional Ballot Access Restrictions
Submitted by JGreene on Mon, 10/29/2007 - 11:13amMany have excitedly embraced the chance to extend to Bryan Greene his constitutional freedom to run for public office and to have his name printed on the ballot, although the state has wrongfully restricted him. Yet, unlike most individuals, such as the Spruce Pine candidate for Town Council who signed Mr. Greene’s petition, who support the right to the ballot as a basic freedom, there are those who refuse to support Bryan’s right to be on the ballot. The most notable of these very few individuals, is the mayor of Spruce Pine, Mr. Wes Foy, who refused to sign Mr. Greene’s petition
Bryan Greene for US Congress (NC-District 10)
Submitted by JGreene on Sat, 08/18/2007 - 1:11pmIn order to allow the people of North Carolina's 10th District to have representation in the US Congress which will fight for principles and fight to restore the US Constitution to its past graduer, Bryan Greene (of Lenoir, NC) is running for US Congress to represent NC-District 10, as an Independent Candidate with the endorsement of the Constitution Party of NC. Currently District 10 is represented by Rep. Patrick McHenry, who has voted numerous times to abridge the US Citizen's freedom for so-called security, and who apparently ignores the US Constitution and continues to support the war in Iraq. Bryan Greene wants change, and wants to restore those freedoms and bring our troops home where they belong.
Puppetmaster Redux
Submitted by James Protzman on Sun, 09/24/2006 - 4:23pm
One of North Carolina's better political reporters, Bob Geary, has done a decent job in recent months covering the monstrosity known as the Art Pope Puppetshow. In fact, he did a particularly good job laying out the sordid details of Pope's electioneering case that came before the State Board of Elections. In a display of stunning incompetence, the Board dismissed the complaint against Pope, and left the dirty old Puppetmaster feeling vindicated.
To celebrate his victory and try to clean up his shady reputation, the Puppetmaster responded to Geary's article in this letter to the editor:
