Surprise, surprise.

Industry representatives say the link (of fracking to earthquakes) is not proven and that the drilling technology is safe.

I guess safe is relative.

I don't get it

Why do geologists care what the seismic readings are on land that is un-fracked? Go out to places the are fracked and see what's shaking there. Duh, it doesn't take a degree to know that any action creates a chain reaction. Ripples in a pond.
